Beat Mosquito Season: Start Early

Hello from our family to yours,

With the warmer weather and more storms around the corner, we’re officially entering the time of year when mosquito activity starts picking up.

Most people think of mosquitoes as a summer problem—but in Texas, they get going much earlier than that.

The homes that tend to stay the most comfortable this time of year are the ones that get ahead of it early.

🦟 Pest Tip of the Month: Start Mosquito Control Early

Mosquitoes don’t need much to get started—just a little warmth and standing water.

And once they’re established, they’re much harder to control.

A few quick things to check around your home:

• Dump standing water (flower pots, toys, buckets, etc.)
• Check low spots where water collects
• Keep gutters and drainage areas clear
• Refresh pet water bowls regularly

Even small amounts of water can turn into a breeding spot faster than you think.

⭐ Why Now Is the Best Time to Start Service

Starting mosquito service early in the season helps:

• Prevent populations from building up
• Reduce breeding before it spreads
• Keep your yard more comfortable as the weather warms

It’s much easier to stay ahead of mosquitoes than to try to catch up once they’ve taken over.

🐭🐜🐝 What Else We’re Seeing Right Now

Along with mosquitoes, we’re also seeing:

Rodents – always looking for a place to stay
Ants – becoming more active as temperatures rise
Wasps – starting to build nests around eaves and outdoor areas

Catching these early always makes things simpler.
