Mosquito Season Is Here 🦟

Hi friends,

We’re right in the middle of the season when pest activity really starts to pick up around North Texas.

Mosquitoes, ants, and wasps are all becoming more active, and it doesn’t take long before they start affecting how comfortable your home and yard feel.

The good news is, there are still simple things you can do now to stay on top of it—and we’re always happy to help if you need us.

Pest Tip of the Month: Managing Mosquito Season

At this point in the season, mosquitoes are already active—and with the recent rain and warm temperatures, they can build up quickly.

A few things that can help around your home:

• Dump standing water (pots, toys, buckets, etc.)

• Check low spots in your yard

Keep gutters and drainage areas clear

• Refresh pet water regularly

Even small amounts of water can turn into a breeding spot faster than you think.

Staying Ahead (Even Mid-Season)

Even though we’re already in mosquito season, staying consistent now can still make a big difference.

Ongoing treatment helps:

• Keep populations under control

• Reduce breeding as the season continues

• Make your yard more comfortable week to week

It’s not about eliminating everything—it’s about keeping things manageable so you can enjoy your space.

What We’re Seeing Right Now (Besides Mosquitoes)

🐝 Wasps

We’re seeing more nest activity around:

• Eaves

• Outdoor fixtures

• Patio areas

Small nests now won’t stay small for long—catching them early still helps.

🐜 Ants

Ant activity is in full swing, especially indoors.

Most common areas we’re seeing:

• Kitchens

• Bathrooms

• Along exterior walls

Take Back Your Yard

This is the time of year your yard should be enjoyable.

Taking care of pest issues now helps make sure you can actually enjoy evenings outside, time with family, and everything that comes with the season.
